I recently stayed at Pension Am Stadtrand during Christmas and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The location near Leipzig made it convenient for us to explore local attractions like the UFZ and Zentralstadion.The family-run guest house is charming and just a short tram ride from Leipzig Main Station, offering easy access to the heart of the city. The room we stayed in featured a kitchenette, which was a delightful surprise and added a homely touch to our stay.The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was impeccable, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The breakfast, while not extravagant, offered a decent selection that fueled us up for a day of adventure in Leipzig.One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor area, currently being improved, where we could relax in deck chairs, enjoy a beer in the covered seating area, and look forward to the upcoming outdoor barbecue area. It's clear that the guest house is dedicated to creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for their guests.Pension Am Stadtrand is a great value for money, especially if you have your own transportation. I highly recommend this guest house for a cozy and relaxed stay in Leipzig, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. My partner and I have visited this place a few times now, and each visit reinforces our love for the German countryside.
